Fitness Instructor AI is built local-first. Your gym logs, food entries, and notes are stored in a database on your own device, not in an account on our servers.

Using the AI coach requires signing in (by email, an OAuth provider, or phone number), and the app is free to use up to a usage limit, with the option to upgrade for more. This policy may be updated from time to time as those features are finalized — see “Changes to this policy” below.

Gym sets, programs, food logs, and notes are written to a local database inside the app. This data never leaves your phone unless you invoke the AI coach. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes it — we hold no copy.

To use the AI coach, you’ll need to sign in with an email address, an OAuth provider (such as Google or Apple), or a phone number. We store whatever identifier that sign-in method gives us, along with usage information needed to apply free-tier limits and manage upgrades. This account data is separate from the training history described above, which stays local to your device.

When you ask the coach a question, the app exports the relevant slice of your recent history and sends it, together with your question, to a language model we run on infrastructure we control. We do not use OpenAI, Anthropic, or any other third-party AI API to process this data.

That request is processed to generate a response and is not retained for training or shared with anyone else. We do not build advertising or analytics profiles from your training history.

The AI coach is free to use up to a usage limit. If you go past it, you can upgrade to keep using it. Exact limits and pricing are shown in the app and may change over time.

If you submit your email address through the “notify me” form on this site, we store it solely to email you when the app becomes available, and any related product announcements. We don’t sell or share this list with third parties. You can ask to be removed at any time using the contact details below.

This website does not set advertising cookies or run third-party analytics trackers. Any change to that will be reflected in this policy before it takes effect.

Fitness Instructor AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time, including as sign-in and the free/paid usage tiers described above are finalized. If it changes in a material way, we’ll update the date below and, where appropriate, notify users who’ve signed up for launch updates.
