8 AI Coach Personalities

One AI coach personality can fit you and bore your friend — so Fitness Instructor AI ships eight: four coaching styles, each with a woman’s and a man’s face. The Encourager is patient and positive, the Challenger focused and driven, the Motivator playful, the Explainer devoted to the why. They are AI personalities, not human trainers or medical professionals — and whichever you pick, they coach from the same logged history: your workouts, meals and measurements.

The cast

The eight AI coach personalities, documented

Names, styles and captions exactly as the product presents them — nothing invented for this page.

The Encourager

Athena & Apollo

“Patient. Positive. At your pace.” An AI coach personality for building the habit before pushing the intensity.

The Challenger

Atalanta & Hercules

“Focused. Driven. In your corner.” The direct style, built around showing your log and getting the next challenge.

The Motivator

Iris & Hermes

“A little fun. A lot of momentum.” The lighter tone, aimed at making showing up the win.

The Explainer

Hypatia & Plato

“Understand the why. Own the how.” The analytical style, working from your training history before the next step.

Each style exists with a woman’s and a man’s face — eight AI coach personalities in total, all sharing the same core features. The roster’s names draw on Greek mythology (Athena, Apollo, Atalanta, Hercules, Hermes, Iris) and on philosophy (Hypatia, Plato); that is what the list is, not a claim of endorsement by anyone of the same name.

Mechanism

What the personality changes — and what it doesn’t

The style is the voice; the logbook is the facts.

  1. You choose a coach on the home page when preparing your beta request — phone, coach, optional first name — and the email you review and send carries that choice.
  2. The style shapes tone and framing. The captions distinguish the personalities; they do not change the product’s documented features or the evidence in your logbook.
  3. The underlying features stay identical. Training plans, meal-photo estimates you adjust, and answers built from your logged workouts, meals, notes and measurements work the same with any face.
  4. Facts don’t bend to personality. Every reply is AI-generated and can be incomplete or wrong — check suggestions before applying them, as our terms say.
One logbook

What the Fitness Instructor AI coaches share

Eight personalities around one account: the AI personal trainer app in beta on iPhone and Android.

  • Train with a plan: your goal, your schedule, your next set.
  • Log meals honestly: photo or description, ingredient-by-ingredient estimates of calories, protein, carbs and fat, adjustable — estimates, not measurements.
  • A coach with memory: it reads the relevant parts of your logged history before answering, and replies in seven languages.
  • Free up to a usage limit shown in the app; any future upgrade would carry its price inside the app, never invented on this website.
Fit

Who picks a personality — and who shouldn’t

A coaching style is a preference, not a qualification.

Good fit: you want the same training and meal log delivered in a tone that keeps you coming back — and you understand these are AI personalities with the same features, not eight human coaches. Not a fit: anyone seeking a licensed professional. The coaches are not doctors, dietitians or physiotherapists, they don’t diagnose or treat, and they must not be used for harmful advice such as extreme dieting; the app is for people 16 and over.

Alternatives

How it compares with other AI trainer apps

Our product, our page — so we disclose our conflict of interest rather than claim neutrality.

We compare third-party options with dated checks on the comparison page for how it compares with other AI trainer apps. Choosing a style well is its own guide-level question — how to choose among personal trainer coaching styles is covered there, not inflated into a sales pitch here.

Access

Request the beta yourself

Pick the face, review the draft, send it from your own mailbox.

The app is in beta on iPhone (TestFlight) and Android (Google Play testing), and no store link exists yet. On the home page you choose your phone and coach; a draft email to Yoram is prepared for you to review and send yourself — nothing is sent automatically, and this website creates no account. Your address is used only to reply and to add you as a tester.

Meet the style that fits you

Prepare your beta request with one coach picked — and change your mind anytime.

Data

Your conversations, stored like everything else

The Privacy Policy keeps no fine print.

Your conversations with the coach are stored in your account on our servers in France and deleted within 30 days — backups included — when you delete the account. Requests to the coach run through our own API to third-party AI providers that do not train on them. No ads, no selling of data, no third-party analytics on this website. The account rules live in our Terms of Use.

Real questions

Frequently asked questions

Questions the official FAQ already fields, answered from the same documented source.

Are these real people or AI coaches?

AI personalities. Each of the four styles offers a woman’s and a man’s face with the same core features. They help you plan, log and understand training — they are not human coaches, and not medical professionals.

Which languages do the personalities reply in?

Seven: English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Hebrew and Russian. A personality changes the tone inside those languages, not the language list.

How do I get the app?

Fitness Instructor AI is in beta on iPhone and Android. Choose your phone and coach on the home page, send the prepared email to Yoram, and he helps you join TestFlight or the Google Play testing program.
